ASART is now managed by Dr. Esther Ina-Egbe, child, adolescent and family psychologist, registered child, adolescent & family psychotherapist, and counsellor qualified to provide adoption support services. ASART is closely supervised by external clinical professionals.
ASART provides adoption support services, through psychology, psychotherapy and/or counselling to children and families, all adult parties to adoption or fostering, without prejudice to their sex, religion, ethnic origin, nationality or otherwise..
What we do
We offer confidential counselling, psychotherapy and psychological services to anyone who is been affected in any way by the experience of adoption or separation from birth family. Our clients tell us that our services have helped them to: -

ASART still offers services in different geographical areas including home visits. For example, all London Boroughs and surrounding areas, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, etc. (based on availability).

We are happy to announce that from 1st June 2021 face to face sessions can be held in our Barnes/Mortlake office venue, London, SW14.
We do not offer drop-in services: all sessions are pre booked.
Car parking: We have limited secure car parking spaces (first come, first served basis) but there are free on street parking spaces too.
Nearest station: MORTLAKE station.
Buses: 419, 533 & N22.
Please note that in order to reduce transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19), we ask that our clients wear a face covering in our office premises, unless they are exempt from wearing a face cover. And we socially distance while in the same space.
We are still providing virtual/video sessions for clients who prefer this method of service delivery.
Families can request for adoption support funding and assessment of their family’s adoption support needs via their Local Authorities. In the first instance, contact your Local Authority. The initial assessment is made by a social worker who submits an application to Mott MacDonald who administers the fund.
